Vintage Gibson Les Paul Recording Walnut 1972. A wonderful player with a true vintage vibe. Designed with the studio in mind, the Les Paul Recording houses a myriad of tonal possibilities, including phase switching & hi-lo output selection. The low impedance pickups deliver some very interesting tones along with the help of bass, treble, decade & volume controls.
Fully inspected & set up with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds marvelous. Cosmetic Condition: Pretty good shape for its age, but does show signs of wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; scratches & some finish wear. Overall the guitar has a great vibe to it with a beautiful patina. Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots.Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Original small frets show some mild wear & have plenty of life in them. Bound headstock with mother of pearl split diamond inlays. Unoriginal gold Grover Pat Pend tuners are all in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body with 4-ply top binding.
Stopbar tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge. 5-ply black pickguard & 3-ply black control plate. Guitar weighs 10.45 lbs. Electronics: Gibson embossed, Les Paul designed low impedance pickups.
Master Volume, Decade, Treble & Bass controls with black speed knobs. All electronics are in good working condition. Case: Original hardshell case included.
