Norman CHERNER PLYCRAFT CHAIR armless Mid Century ViNTAGE - Original. Overall in pretty good condition. There are a few small marks (think a small nick about 3/16 and a spot that look like cigarette ash mark) but no rips, gouges or tears in the seat padding. One of the legs of the has a slight issue. About 8" of the top veneer/plywood (about 1/32" thick) has come separated, leaving bare wood exposed.
Also another (approximate) 1/8 of veneer looks to have come loose. The previous owner looks to have used duct tape to prevent the split from getting any worse. The leg should be an easy repair. A little wood glue (and patience) and a clamp could easily fix the split and make it nearly invisible.
The missing veneer could be easily replaced/repaired and stained. That being said the leg is still solid with the foot stopper still attached. Just a vintage and pretty rare collection of mid-century chair that would be a killer find for a interior designer looking for that special find for a customer or a steal for a collector. The item "Norman CHERNER PLYCRAFT CHAIR armless Mid Century ViNTAGE Original" is in sale since Tuesday, April 9, 2019.
